The partnership led by former Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak on Monday outlined five community-wide actions aimed at shrinking the huge disparity in academic performance between white students and those of color in Minneapolis and St. Paul. At the same event, Target Corp. announced that it would donate $1.1 million to a separate effort to boost school performance.
