My long-term involvement with Cincinnati nonprofit Cancer Family Care has provided me with the opportunity to help families and cancer patients in need, while also helping to shape my career path. What started out as an outlet to volunteer my time as a young professional turned into a chance to develop my leadership skills, understand the nonprofit world and ultimately leave corporate life and focus my career in the nonprofit space. Without this valuable experience and personal connection to this local organization, I would never have found my dream job at StriveTogether, where I put my business and financial skills to work while helping to make a difference for students and families across the country!
