We are a network of leaders committed to building an equitable future.
Miguel A. Garcia is project manager of network advancement for StriveTogether. They support the management and execution of in-person and virtual events, along with grant administration for the Cradle to Career Community Challenge Fund.
Before StriveTogether, Miguel was the marketing and engagement manager for Chicago Sinfonietta, supporting promotional and institutional marketing strategies as well as curating an concert engagement program in collaboration with local artists and organizations.
Miguel studied arts education and business at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. For nearly 10 years, Miguel has coordinated programs and events that support local communities and ensure a more equitable arts landscape in their hometown of Chicago, working with organizations and artists alike, including the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, Chicago Park District and DURO — Chicago’s premiere Latinx LGBTQ+ nightlife collective.
I am endlessly inspired by the vibrancy of Chicago. A first-generation Latinx queer individual, I am motivated by the strength of immigrant and queer communities to share my most authentic self, support creatives and speak up whenever possible for those who may not be able to do so.
