Project Manager of Coaching

Tashonna Douglas is project manager of coaching at StriveTogether. In her role, she manages the coaching program’s internal and external resources, supports the development of the Black, Indigenous, Latine, Asian, Multi-Racial Collaborative offering, and synthesizes coaching data and processes.

Tashonna grew up on the West Side of Chicago and has a deep love for the inner city. While attending Richard T. Crane High School, she received the Posse Foundation Leadership Scholarship to attend St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. She graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Race and Ethnic Studies. During her time at St. Olaf, she earned the prestigious Spohn Award and was featured in a Black hair showcase for her senior project, Hairitage.

To achieve equitable work, we must commit time and resources to individual learning. It’s important that I champion how different racial and ethnic groups will likely be affected by a proposed action or decision at any system level. I want my work to always reflect that.
