What is a place that has shaped you and how does it give you purpose?
Growing up as a third culture kid in Singapore profoundly shaped my identity and sense of purpose. Singapore feels like home to me, even though is not where I was born or hold citizenship. Being constantly surrounded by people from various backgrounds taught me the importance of understanding and respecting different perspectives. The experiences and connections have shaped my values, beliefs and sense of belonging. It has given me a sense of purpose to foster understanding and contribute to building a more interconnected and compassionate world. The food is also the best in the world. Hands down.
