What is a place that shaped you and how does it give you purpose?

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and studied at the University of Florida where I deepened my understanding of Latine history in the US. There I learned how to advocate for the needs of Latine students and was involved in the creation of the Institute of Hispanic-Latino Cultures (also known as La Casita), which became a home away from home for many students.
