Success Networks

Student Success Networks

Student Success Networks are groups of service providers who work together to develop common action plans that support student success. Collectively, they will define the problem they will focus on, work on enhancing or creating measurement systems to track their progress, align and leverage resources to create action plans, implement the action plans, and periodically review the ongoing data collection to make continuous improvements.

To be accepted as a Strive Student Success Network, a collaborative must:

  • Clearly align with Strive's Roadmap for Student Success.
  • Include all appropriate partners and be willing to expand as appropriate partners emerge.
  • Have wide support in the community and among stakeholders of Strive.
  • Commit to being data-driven with clear outcomes and use Strive Six Sigma, as appropriate, to improve service delivery.
  • Report progress regularly to the Strive Operations Committee and have a Strive Executive Committee Sponsor for your work.
  • Be willing to publish progress and share data that contributes to Strive’s Community Report Card.

There are many benefits to the service providers who participate in Student Success Networks and go through the Strive Endorsement Process.

  • Increased opportunity for service providers to work together and have a shared sense of direction.
  • Identification and recognition for the service providers who participate.
  • Service providers, funders and the community at large will know where there are gaps and why they exist.
  • Service providers will be encouraged to work on their areas of expertise.
  • Increased ability to compete on a national level leading to more federal dollars for the region.
