May 30, 2025
Cincinnati, Ohio – Jenny Wittner, a national leader in social sector strategy, operations and program implementation, is joining StriveTogether as chief operating officer.
StriveTogether is the nation’s largest network of place-based partnerships, which bring together youth and families, nonprofits, businesses, schools and more to work toward a future where youth can thrive. StriveTogether supports communities to improve outcomes along seven key life milestones that are proven to lead to economic mobility.
As chief operating officer, Wittner will develop and implement an operational infrastructure to achieve the organization’s 2030 strategic plan to put millions more young people on the path to economic mobility.
“The StriveTogether team is working toward transformational impact for young people and communities,” said StriveTogether President and CEO Jennifer Blatz. “Building a world-class organization is critical to achieving our vision. With Jenny’s strategic leadership, StriveTogether will have the operational structures we need to reach our bold goals.”
Wittner brings more than two decades of experience in nonprofit strategy and operations. Most recently, she served as chief operating officer at National Skills Coalition, where she led the organization’s HR, development, financial and overall operations functions to support its work to advance policy, build networks and change the conversation around skills training. Since 2000, the organization has changed hundreds of state and federal skills policies to better support individuals, businesses and local economies.
Before joining National Skills Coalition, Jenny led the fiscal sponsorship service at Arabella Advisors as a managing director, providing operational infrastructure to hundreds of nonprofit projects. She has worked in roles in nonprofit operations, policy and direct service over the course of her career, including serving as associate director of Women Employed, an advocacy organization that mobilizes people and organizations to expand educational and employment opportunities for America’s working women.
Jenny started her career as an English teacher in immigrant communities, where she saw firsthand the need to create pathways from education to economic mobility. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social studies from Harvard College and a master’s degree in linguistics and teaching English for speakers of other languages from Northeastern Illinois University.
“StriveTogether and the Cradle to Career Network show that communities can transform outcomes when they center young people and share collective accountability,” Wittner said. “I’m thrilled to be joining this movement to help build the infrastructure that fuels lasting change.”
