The public will have a complete snapshot of the area’s data on racial inequity once a new dashboard is completed this year.
Achieve Escambia was chosen for an $85,000 grant to build a database from the national StriveTogether Challenge Fund, which aims to improve outcomes for children and families, that would quantify the state of racial inequities in the area. Once completed, the database will pull in information from more than 50 agencies across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
