Director, People Experience
Katie Price serves as the director of people experience for StriveTogether. In this role, she leads the design, execution and continuous improvement of the organization’s core talent practices, including talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and career pathing. She partners with leadership to align people strategy with organizational priorities, ensuring staff have the clarity, tools and support needed to advance StriveTogether’s mission. Katie’s work strengthens employee engagement and fosters a culture that enables teams to support a national network of cradle-to-career partnerships working so that youth can thrive.
Prior to joining StriveTogether, Katie led the strategic human resources function for a mission-driven public health communications firm. There, she built and scaled inclusive talent systems, established career leveling practices, and introduced performance management frameworks aligned to organizational goals. Earlier in her career, she held roles in project management and operations, building a strong foundation in human- and equity-centered design and organizational effectiveness.
Katie holds a bachelor of science in public health from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and has completed a DEI in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida. She is based in Maryland and lives with her husband, two children and their dog.
