Associate, Assessment and Evaluation
As assessment and evaluation associate, Christina provides project management support for StriveTogether’s assessment process.
Christina was an educator for many years in the Denver, Colorado metro area, serving as a teacher, vice principal and principal at a nonprofit high school. She has experience working with students with adverse childhood experiences and complex trauma, including survivors of human trafficking and exploitation. Prior to joining the StriveTogether team, Christina also worked as a project coordinator for an international nonprofit, where she refined her project management and data management skills.
She received her Bachelor of Arts from the College of Wooster with a double major in English and Spanish and recently completed the Executive Program for Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania.
After leaving Colorado, Christina returned home to New Jersey to be closer to family. She loves going on walks with her mini aussie, trying out new recipes and exploring different cities with her husband.

What is a place that shaped you, and how does it give you purpose?
A place that has shaped me is Aurora, Colorado, where I started my teaching career. The neighborhood surrounding the school was considered a high-crime, low-income area, and living and working there, I witnessed firsthand the challenges its residents faced. I came away from my time in Aurora with a deep understanding of systemic inequity and an even deeper commitment to combatting it. I also learned the importance of creating joy in the struggle—the moments of joy I experienced with students are memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I believe deeply in the transformative power of authentic and joyful community.
