Specialist, Training Hub

Brittany Brunner is training hub specialist at StriveTogether. In this role, Brittany provides project coordination and administrative support to execute training hub initiatives.

Brittany is an accomplished administrative professional and advocate for social change. Her core values are trust, empathy and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Brittany views her administrative work as an anchor – she seeks to inspire others to work toward their passions while also keeping the team focused on their intended goals.

Before joining StriveTogether, Brittany found her passion in advocating for underserved communities through her work as a wellness champion at Queen’s Village and as a facilitator of the Parents on Point program. She also served as a Senior Executive Secretary at Cincinnati Public Schools. Through these roles she learned how to promote change by challenging others to reflect on their present and take responsibility for future changes.

Maternal and infant health is important to me because black women are three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women. These disparities are caused by factors such as variations in the quality of healthcare, underlying chronic conditions, structural racism and implicit bias.
