Abby wicker
Network Advisor
Abby Wicker is a Network Advisor at StriveTogether, where she supports cradle-to-career partnerships working to transform systems and put more young people on a path to economic mobility. Through strategic guidance and connections to tools, data and peer learning opportunities, her work strengthens network member capacity to facilitate collaboration across sectors, align strategies and advance outcomes that enable young people to thrive.
Abby brings more than two decades of experience across the pre-K-12 and nonprofit sectors in various leadership roles, including as executive director of youth development for the YMCA of Greater San Antonio, deputy director of UP Partnership, and director of research, evaluation and strategic improvement in Stafford County Public Schools. In these roles, she supported communities in developing and executing strategies to support young people across the cradle-to-career continuum. With an emphasis on systems-level design, she focused on supporting organizations and teams with strategic planning, organizational development, capacity building and funding.
Abby holds a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a master of science in organizational leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University. She lives in Spotsylvania, Virginia with her husband and sons.
