Specialist, Technology
Darnell McGhee joined StriveTogether in 2022 as the technology specialist. In this role, he manages and secures the organization’s technology infrastructure, providing frontline support for PC and Mac users and overseeing devices, conference technology and office systems. Darnell leads staff training and technology orientation when they onboard into StriveTogether and oversees cybersecurity efforts, including threat mitigation, VPN administration, SSO integrations and domain security. His work enables the StriveTogether team to operate efficiently and securely, ensuring staff capacity to work toward the organizational vision of putting more youth on a path to economic mobility.
Before joining StriveTogether, Darnell managed device inventory and served as a key liaison between help desk and technical teams, coordinating efforts to resolve complex issues efficiently. Darnell led governance of service desk processes to ensure compliance with internal audit standards, developed comprehensive knowledgebase documentation, and partnered with external support teams to ensure timely resolution of critical issues. Darnell also facilitated technical training sessions for both end users and support staff, enhancing organizational proficiency and support capabilities.
Darnell is based in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, with his wife and two daughters. He holds certifications in networking, technical support and mobile device management.
