Michael Mozina
Director, Network Membership
As director of membership at StriveTogether, Mike Mozina leads strategies to support and grow the Cradle to Career Network, including affiliate StriveTogether memberships. He oversees the membership team, including Network Navigators, which manages the full lifecycle of network engagement — from onboarding prospective place-based partnerships to providing targeted supports for early-stage communities. Mike ensures network members have access to responsive technical assistance, aligned offerings and effective communication channels. His work advances StriveTogether’s goal of transforming systems to improve outcomes for young people and families.
Mike brings experience in education, policy and systems strategy. He began his career as a seventh grade math and science teacher with Breakthrough Public Schools in Cleveland, Ohio, where he partnered with students to use data and continuous improvement practices to strengthen STEM outcomes. He later served as an Urban Leaders Fellow with Leadership ISD and Texas State Board of Education, where he contributed to policy research and helped shape recommendations on science standards and school board pathways. Since joining StriveTogether in 2016, Mike has held roles on both the Network and Policy teams, supporting network offerings and foundational civic infrastructure building.
Mike holds a degree in social relations and policy from James Madison College at Michigan State University. He currently lives in Chicago near Wrigley Field with his wife, Emily, and their dog, Winston, proudly cheering on the White Sox from behind enemy lines.
