Specialist, Event Operations

Sydney Webber joined StriveTogether in 2025 as an events and operations specialist. In this role, she provides logistical and operational support for in-person convenings that advance StriveTogether’s mission of ensuring every child has every opportunity to succeed, cradle to career. Sydney supports the planning and execution of national events for network members across more than 70 communities, as well as internal staff meetings and retreats that foster collaboration, alignment and organizational growth. By managing event logistics — from vendor coordination and material preparation to registration systems and on-site support — she helps deliver high-quality, inclusive experiences that strengthen relationships, accelerate learning and build the civic infrastructure needed to transform systems and achieve equitable outcomes.

Prior to joining StriveTogether, Sydney served as manager of event operations at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, leading logistics for a wide range of public and private events. She later served as a community manager at COhatch, where she designed inclusive member experiences and supported local entrepreneurial ecosystems. She now leverages her project management, stakeholder coordination and mission-aligned operations skills to support StriveTogether’s strategic goals.

Sydney holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in marketing from the University of Cincinnati. Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, she now lives in Newport, Kentucky.
