Specialist, People Experience
Melissa Yankee is people experience specialist at StriveTogether. In this role, she owns the people operations processes for the organization.
Prior to joining StriveTogether, Melissa served as human resources manager for multiple organizations, including Cincinnati Animal CARE and the Campbell County Public Library. She has over ten years of human resources experience across many industries. She brings to her work a wealth of expertise with all facets of human resources, from the employee lifecycle, recruitment, offboarding and everything in between. Her passion lies in working with employees and creating positivity in the workplace.
Melissa is a graduate of Wright State University with a degree in organizational communications and a minor in management. In addition, she is certified with the Society of Human Resources Management as a SHRM-CP (Society of Human Resources Management-Certified Professional).
Melissa was born in Irving, Texas and raised in Lima, Ohio. She currently lives in Highland Heights, Kentucky with her husband, Ian and their two boys, three dogs and two cats. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading and working out.
